This example is described in the text of the manuscript. It shows that implied accretion/deletion of texture cannot alone explain the figural ratings observed. There is no differential implied accretion/deletion between the two sides. Instead, figural assignment is dictated by common fate grouping between the edge and the left side texture, leading the left-side figural assignment. |
