Prof. Harry Whitaker
Harry Whitaker received his PhD from University of California at Los Angeles; he is currently professor of psychology at Northern Michigan University. Postdoctoral positions were taken at the Mayo Clinic (neurology and speech pathology), University of Washington School of Medicine (neurosurgery), and the University of Louisville (psychology). He is the founding editor of the journals Brain and Language and Brain and Cognition and currently an advisory editor for the International Encyclopedia of Social and Behavioral Sciences IIe. His research on evoked potentials, aphasia, electrical stimulation of the brain, and history of neuroscience has appeared in Science, Nature, Archives of Neurology, Neuropsychologia, and Cortex, and twice in the Journal of Irreproducible Results.
