Dr. Vetta Sanders Thompson Vetta L. Sanders Thompson, PhD, is an associate professor at the Brown School, Washington University in St. Louis, Institute of Public Health. Dr. Thompson's research interests focus on the measurement and use of cultural constructs and the development of cultural competence to eliminate health disparities in mental health, and health. She has been an associate editor for PsycCRITIQUES since 2004.
