Dr. Dario Maestripieri
Dario Maestripieri earned his Ph.D. in Psychobiology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1992 and is currently an Associate Professor of Human Development and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Chicago. His research interests focus on the biology of behavior in nonhuman primates and humans. Dario Maestripieri has published over 100 scientific articles and book chapters and recently edited the book Primate Psychology. He was awarded the 2000 American Psychological Association Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology and is currently the recipient of a Career Development Award from the National Institute of Mental Health.
