Craig A. Anderson (PhD, Stanford University) is Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Iowa State University and past-president of the International Society for Research on Aggression. His more than 100 refereed journal articles in top outlets and more than 40 chapters in edited volumes are widely cited in textbooks and scientific literatures. His first-authored 2007 book Violent Video Game Effects on Children and Adolescents (Oxford University Press) reported the first longitudinal study of this topic; its findings have been replicated in multiple countries. His General Aggression Model has been applied to clinical, social, personality, and developmental psychology; pediatrics; criminology; war; and climate change, among other fields.
