Ms. Melissa Sivvy

After an initial career as a director and theater professor (Lyndon College, VT), Ms. Sivvy has changed fields and is now pursuing graduate studies in psychology. She did her early theater training at Montana State University (BA) and her graduate work at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (MFA). Many years of studying human behavior with actors and students onstage and in the classroom have provided her with an excellent segue into the world of counseling psychology. Presently, she is completing a master's degree at Goddard College and preparing for a new career in the more applied and clinical uses of the discipline. Mindfulness, addiction theory, and general clinical practice are among her current professional interests.
