Dr. Erin Young

Erin Young received her bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan College (Macon, Georgia) and her MS and PhD from Kent State University. After completing postdoc training at Texas A&M University as well as University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, she is now faculty at University of Connecticut School of Nursing in the Center for Advanced Management of Pain. Her research program uses both animal models and patient populations to investigate the mechanisms by which genetic variation and environmental factors contribute to risk for chronic pain conditions.
