Dr. Sussie Eshun

Sussie Eshun is a licensed psychologist and professor of psychology at East Stroudsburg University, Pennsylvania. She received her BA in psychology from University of Ghana and MA and PhD in clinical psychology from State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook. She has experienced a diverse cultural life and years of training, practice, teaching, and research. Her research interests focus on sociocultural influences in mental health. She has publications on topics related to depression, suicide, and stress in peer reviewed journals, including Cross Cultural Research, Suicide and Life Threatening Behavior, and Psychological Reports. She has coedited a book on culture and mental health, and written several book chapters on mental health of African Americans.
