Dr. Ngoc Bui
Ngoc H. Bui taught full time at Metropolitan Community College in Elkhorn, Nebraska, before joining the faculty at the University of La Verne in 2002, where she is now a tenured associate professor. Dr. Bui is currently serving as Psi Chi International Honor Society chapter adviser. She teaches a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including social psychology and principles of college teaching for graduate students.
Dr. Bui trained as a social psychologist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research interests include the scholarship of teaching and learning, specifically, academic procrastination and improving student learning, and social cognition as it relates to body image and ethnic identity.
