Dr. Jeff Reiter
Dr. Jeff Reiter is co-author of the book Behavioral Consultation and Primary Care: A Guide to Integrating Services and is co-director of primary care behavioral health services for Healthpoint Community Health Centers, near Seattle, Washington. In 2008, he was one of three consultants contracted by the US Air Force to help them implement integrated care services throughout their bases worldwide.
Dr. Reiter writes and speaks frequently at national conferences about primary care behavioral health integration. He holds an ABPP in behavioral psychology and is interested in health psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy, prevention, and novel healthcare delivery approaches. Prior to his current position with Healthpoint, he spent eight years as a psychologist in the US Air Force and published widely in the area of body image dissatisfaction. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Vermont in 1996.
