Dr. J. Doug Pettinelli J. Douglas Pettinelli, PhD, is director of the Center for Counseling and Family Therapy and an associate professor in the Department of Counseling and Family Therapy, Saint Louis University. He has provided education and training in couple and family therapy for over 30 years. In addition, he has maintained a practice in marriage and family therapy for over 25 years. His research interests involve couples change processes, family transitions, attachment, and adoption.
