Kathleen Cook, PhD, is an associate professor in the psychology department at Seattle University. Dr. Cook received her doctorate in social and personality psychology from the University of Washington, with emphases in cognitive psychology and quantitative methods, and her bachelor's in music and education from the University of Louisville.

Dr. Cook teaches introductory, social, and cognitive psychology, as well as statistics and research methods. Her research spans such areas as classroom learning, jury decision making, health perceptions, and perceptions of the self, gender, and power. She has also conducted applied research for the software industry.
