Christopher Ferguson is currently an associate professor and department chair of psychology at Stetson University. He obtained his degree in clinical psychology from University of Central Florida and interned at University of Texas Medical School in Houston.

Christopher's research interests include violent behavior and the etiology of violent crime. He has particularly focused on the effects of media, such as violent video games and television, thin-ideal media and body dissatisfaction and advertising effects.

Christopher is married with a young son and enjoys living in Florida. Hobbies include jogging, swimming, biking, SCUBA and playing his guitar. He is the author of a mystery novel, Suicide Kings, as well as a number of short stories, particularly in the area of speculative fiction.
