Dr. Jeffrey Noel

Jeffrey Noel completed his PhD in social psychology at the University of Kansas in 1995. His graduate work as a social psychologist focused on interpersonal trust and also on social identity and the self-presentational concerns of non-prototypical group members. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the Missouri Institute of Mental Health (MIMH) in 2000, he began focusing on more applied topics. Now a research assistant professor at MIMH, his major research interest is the application of social psychology to the explanation, prediction, and prevention of high-risk behavior among youth.
