Dr. Karen Conner

Karen Conner graduated with a PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Florida, interned at the University of Missouri-Columbia Counseling Center, and completed a postdoctoral residency at Illinois State University Counseling and Career Services. She is currently in solo private practice in Chicago, Illinois, where she also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Roosevelt University. Teaching interests include the psychology of women, movies and mental illness, abnormal psychology, and the psychopathology of serial violent criminals. Her clinical interests include the outpatient treatment of persons with mood and personality disorders, histories of childhood abuse and neglect, and gay, lesbian, bisexual issues.
