Dr. Nicole Thomson
Nicole Renick Thomson, PhD, is a developmental psychologist and research assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She received her doctorate in 2004 from Saint Louis University. Dr. Thomson's research interests focus on youth resiliency, self-concept development, gender issues, substance abuse prevention, and violence prevention. Her recent publications have appeared in Sex Roles, Journal of Black Psychology, Journal of Psychology, and Evaluation Review. She has been an associate editor for PsycCRITIQUES since January 2007.
