Dr. Judith L. Gibbons
Judith Gibbons is emerita professor of psychology and international studies at Saint Louis University. As a cross-cultural developmental psychologist, her research centers on the lives of adolescents in different societies of the world. She has also researched intercountry adoption, gender roles, and equine interventions for the reduction of violence in Guatemala. She is a former president of the Society for Cross-Cultural Research and the Interamerican Society of Psychology, and the founding editor of the APA journal International Perspectives in Psychology.
