Dr. Tasha Howe
Tasha R. Howe is a Fulbright scholar and professor of psychology at Humboldt State University. She specializes in developmental psychopathology and violence prevention. She is a trainer for the American Psychological Association's violence prevention program ACT Raising Safe Kids. Dr. Howe is also a reviewer for SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices (NREPP). She is interested in how traumatic experiences organize brain development. Particular passions include how yoga, meditation, and mindfulness-based interventions can recalibrate limbic functioning in children and their parents, thus improving attachment quality.
