Dr. Sherri McCarthy
Sherri McCarthy, PhD, is a professor of educational psychology, counseling, and human relations at Northern Arizona University's Yuma Branch Campus, where she has mentored graduate students for the last two decades. During that time, she has taught at universities around the world as a Fulbright Scholar in Russia, a CNPq Scholar in Brazil, and a visiting professor at universities in Europe and Malaysia. Prior to her academic career, she worked as an organizational psychologist and a community college psychology professor, after several years employed in public schools (K-12) in Arizona and Hawaii as a school psychologist, director of special education, and special and gifted education instructor.
