Dr. Robert Intrieri

Robert C. Intrieri, PhD, is professor of psychology at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses in abnormal psychology, personality theories, clinical psychology, child neuropsychology, and a variety of graduate level aging courses. He is past president of the American Psychological Association's Division 12, Section 2, Clinical Geropsychology. Currently his work involves the relation between daily activities, social context, and emotional regulation in both community-dwelling and institutionalized older adults. He has authored over 30 book chapters, monographs, and peer-reviewed articles related to health psychology, coping, and aging.
